General information
RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) makes it possible to use wireless transmission of data between a transponder, the size of a quarter/penny, (tag), adhered to e.g. a container, bin etc. and an antenna mounted on the truck/lorry. Each bin or container is equipped with a unique tag which is registered and positively identified by the antenna while emptying. The unique code is transmitted to the on board computer and referred back to the list of customers or daily pick-up schedule. Technical specifications and advantages Systems know-how: SWT have, in cooperation with AEG Trovan, developed an new and advanced RFID system with a a longer reading/identification distance than previously beeing available. Reading distance We offer a reading/identification distance of upto 600 mm (23") for containers and 250-300 mm ´(10-12") for regular waste bins. The distance is vital to minimize the risk of negative identification and other errors. <-Back |
Multireading (optional)
A multireading head will allow monitoring and identifying all common tags on the market. Unique antenna The antenna is less sensitive to iron or magnetic fields in the lifting gear. This will enable a secure and reliable RFID registration.
